There are several smartphones available in the ₹35,000–₹40,000 price range, but the big question is: which one should you buy during the Big Billion Days Sale and Amazon Great Indian Festival? This is something many buyers are confused about. Even after watching multiple YouTube videos, choosing the right smartphone can be difficult because many tech creators often mislead viewers or spread misinformation. They recommend smartphones without properly checking their availability, and sometimes the suggested phones are either unavailable in the online market or priced beyond the ₹40,000 budget.
In 2026, smartphone and laptop prices have increased significantly. Earlier, you could get a smartphone with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage within this budget. Today, you may have to spend around ₹45,000 for a similar variant. What’s even more disappointing is that the prices of many smartphones have increased without any major improvements in their specifications.
The most disappointing part is that even during major sale events like Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale and Amazon Great Indian Festival, smartphone prices this year don’t seem as attractive as expected. As a result, choosing the right smartphone within a budget of ₹35,000–₹40,000 has become more difficult than ever.

OnePlus 13s and iQOO 15R-Phones Excluded Due to Pricing or Availability
I have excluded both of these smartphones from my list because, during April and May, they were available for around ₹40,000. However, their prices have now increased to over ₹50,000, or they are out of stock.
Under these circumstances, recommending these phones in the ₹35,000–₹40,000 price range makes no sense. If a smartphone is not available within your budget, including it in a Best Phones Under ₹40,000 list and recommending it to buyers is not the right approach.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

-
Front Camera: 12MP
-
Battery: 4900mAh
- Display & Design: 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz refresh rate
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is a good smartphone, but when you compare its specifications with its price, other brands offer better hardware for the money.
However, if you prefer Samsung’s camera experience, its smooth One UI software, the Samsung ecosystem, and a premium metal build, and your budget isn’t a concern, you can certainly consider this phone.
That said, there are a few things worth keeping in mind. At this price, you may get less RAM and storage compared to competing smartphones from other brands. Additionally, the charger is not included in the box, so you may need to spend extra to purchase one separately.
In short, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE isn’t a bad phone. However, if your priority is getting the best possible specifications for your money, you should also consider alternatives from other brands.
OPPO K13 Turbo, OPPO K13 Turbo Pro, and Vivo T4 Ultra
All three smartphones could have been good options for you, but the problem is their availability. Their availability in the online market is quite limited, and finding them in stock for purchase is currently difficult.
So, what is the point of recommending these phones in the ₹35,000–₹40,000 price range when customers are unable to buy them?
In my opinion, checking a phone’s specifications alone isn’t enough when making a recommendation. Its current price and online availability are equally important. After all, customers need a smartphone they can actually purchase within their budget, not one that looks like a great option only on paper.
